Lois Foraker

Lois was trained in classic repertory theatre at ACT San Francisco after studying at the University of Washington.

Following a year that saw her working with the San Francisco Socio-Political Improv Group, The Pitchell Players and Country Joe McDonald on his solo U.S. tour as an opening act – Godspell came to town. She was able to combine the two worlds of classic theatre and improvisation in what she calls, "The most delicious year-long run of clowning around – and getting paid for it." In the Bicentennial year of 1976, Lois was tagged to join the Broadway company of Godspell.

Lois continued her career for the next 25 years in film, television and stage work throughout the country.
